Settings and application log are now separate floating windows with
draggable title bars and top-right close buttons instead of one shared
two-column dialog whose log column stretched the layout. The log opens
from a small Log button on the settings version/update row (GUI mode
only), displays in its own wider window on the left with internal
scrolling, and its text is selectable with a Copy button for the full
log.
- Windows portable ZIP remains, but has been fixed so that it isn't poisoned by being a web download
- Velopack installer offered on all platforms: Linux AppImage, Windows setup.exe, Mac setup.pkg
- Mac updated to Qt6 which has a modern Chromium as opposed to Qt5 that didn't
- Application log now shown on settings panel
- Automated cross-platform builds via Gitea actions

- Add mediahive/players.py with cross-platform player detection:
- Windows: MPC-BE, MPC-HC, VLC, PotPlayer, mpv (registry + known paths)
- macOS: IINA, VLC (/Applications bundle scanning)

- Add GET /api/players endpoint returning detected players
- Extend POST /api/roots/{id}/play to accept player_id and player_custom_cmd
